Life has been exciting, busy, and stupid all at the same time lately.
Planning a wedding is a little overwhelming at times, and doing most of the planning without your groom makes things a little more difficult. Luckily I have my parents who are just as excited about planning as I am, and my coordinator who has already helped us so much. She is an old friend from WAY back in the day when we were causing trouble in middle school and she’s exactly the kind of coordinator I need.
This is my mom and me at the ceremony site. It has such a gorgeous view and we can’t wait for our out of town guests to see it in person.
About a week after Ryan proposed he left for a three week tour with a band he travels with called Cash’d Out (they are a Johnny Cash cover band). It has not been easy being away from him. Sending each other goofy photos everyday is fun and all, but it in no way makes up for the real thing.
I knew this time was going to be sucky, but I don’t think I was prepared for the level of suck that has been forced upon us. I tried (and failed) to find a way to get out to him even if it were just for one night. Since that didn’t work out I’m forced to check Facebook every five minutes in hopes that the band posted more photos of their journey. Like the time they had a no pants party.
Or the time they stuffed themselves with White Castle.
Or that one time they performed in front of a crowd of demons known as the Eye Glowers.
When he comes home I’m going to squeeze him until he passes out and I won’t let go for at least four days.
If you’re in one of the towns they are stopping in you should check out their show! Tell Ryan I said hello, give him a big hug and let him know you’re a blog friend
