About Me

Hello! My name is Tera, but my family calls me Tera Sue. I’m a strange little bird who loves entertaining my family and friends by acting like a weirdo. If you read my blog you will find out that I love drawing and painting quirky little pictures, and creating jewelry and hair pieces. I dabble in dessert creations though I don’t really like eating them and I love sewing though I’m still a beginner trying my hand at quilt making (one of my New Year’s Resoultions for 2011).

I love animals and though I’m deathly allergic (and I mean eyes swollen shut can’t breath out of my nose allergic) to most of them I have a Pekingese-Pug named Emma Rose (she just makes me sneeze a little). She is a grumpy old lady who loves long walks, horror movies, her squeaky milk bone, her new cave bed, sitting in laps, sneezing in faces, dancing, and most of all, food. I fell in love with her at a craft fair/farmers market where she was up for adoption. She was sitting by herself in a cage full of Chihuahuas when our eyes locked and I knew she had to be mine.

By day I work as an Online Producer which is a career I could explain ten different ways and most people still wouldn’t be able to figure out what it entails. Put simply, I place content on corporate websites. I like what I do and I’ve had some great experiences along the way working for companies like MTV News and Disneyland Parks & Resorts, but if I could do ANYTHING in the world I would create pretty stuff and things for a living. I would have a huge studio where I could drip paint on the floor and take karaoke breaks whenever I pleased.

I live in Burbank, CA with Emma, but I grew up in San Diego, CA which will make an occasional appearance on the blog when we visit my friends and parents almost every other weekend. They are all very important to me and I miss being near them.

My blog is still just a baby so it is evolving. I write about fun things I do, fun things I create, art and other things that inspire me, and strange things I think about. If you follow me on Twitter you will know that my brain is full of eccentric and peculiar things most of the time which makes life way more fun!
